Meet Benny! Benny is a 1-year-old mixed breed with a playful spirit and a heart of gold! He currently weighs 30 lbs but is on a healthy journey to reach his ideal weight of around 45 lbs-and he's thriving with good food, care, and love. Benny is a friendly, active boy who enjoys long walks, running, and lounging with a good bone in his cozy bed. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and kids. He's learning quickly-he already knows how to sit and is working on leash manners and other basic commands. Due to a bit of food insecurity, Benny can be protective of his meals around other dogs, but this is just a fear-based behavior that's improving with support and consistency. Benny is sweet, smart, and ready for a forever family who can help him continue to grow in confidence and love. Could that be you?
