Buttercup is a loving and smart girl who is food motivated and loves training sessions! She knows several tricks and will perform them all in succession in hopes for treats and belly rubs. She loves to play fetch and tug, and when she's finally calm, she loves to snuggle up on the couch. She won't let you forget that it's dinner time, either! She loves to play fetch, run around outside, and play with other dogs that can match her energy. She enjoys training time and knows several commands and tricks. Buttercup loves her toys! She loves toys that make her work for a reward, such as a kong. She also loves bones she can chew on, as well as durable stuffed toys. Buttercup would do best in a home where she can have her own yard to run around in. She would also thrive with another dog her size to play with. She is friendly to all animals she's met, but is a bit too rough for smaller dogs and cats. She's friendly to all adults and children she's met up close, but might topple over smaller children. Buttercup is crate-trained and house-trained. She knows basic commands such as 'sit,' 'lay down,' and 'wait' for food. She also knows a few tricks such as 'high five,' 'spin,' and 'bang' (point a finger gun at her and she will play dead! It's very cute). Buttercup does have some behavior issues that we feel can be corrected if in the right environment to do so. She is fairly reactive toward strangers while out on walks. She isn't aggressive, but will bark, pull, jump, and continue to have signs of anxiety even after the stranger is out of sight. She would do well in a more stable environment where she can take baby steps to being properly socialized. Buttercup is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. She has no medical conditions or dietary needs.
