About Wendy

Wendy's Story ( located in GadsdenAlabama, can be brought to Florida) This is Wendy a 2 y/o Great Pyrenees. Her body tells a story that too many choose not to see. Like so many she has been bred, for one reason: lack of care! You can see it in her tired frame, in the sagging skin that once nursed litter after litter. Puppies sold, traded, or given away while Wendy herself was left behind, discarded like she never mattered. She has wandered the streets hungry, her ribs and hips showing through her coat. She has searched parking lots for scraps, hoping someone would care enough to notice. Most people look away. They have passed her by as if she's invisible, as if she isn't standing there, a soul who has known nothing but neglect and survival. But Wendy deserves more. She deserves a warm bed, a hand that comforts instead of takes, and love that doesn't come with conditions. She deserves to know safety, to be seen not as a tool, but as a life worth cherishing.
