Transport help may be available. * weighs 45 pounds * heartworm positive - she may qualify for free treatment in the foster to adopt heartworm program - ask staff * owner surrender due to her outdoor living conditions and lack of proper care * toddler friendly * dog friendly - did well for her dog test * housebroken - she let's you know when she needs to go outside * friendly with new people * does well with baths * loving and social - greets you at her kennel door with nonstop tail wags * easy going with good leash manners * calm, quiet, and well behaved in and outside of the kennel * submissive and eager to please * gentle, affectionate, and a wonderful dog! Sweet Lyrical has not had the best life. Despite her sad past and lack of care she is very loving and submissive. Lyrical was brought in after being surrendered to our AC officers. She was living outdoors and her ears were being bitten by flies. She has some healing wounds on her ears with scabbing due to the fly bites. She will look and feel much better soon. Lyrical longs for a gentle touch - someone to love and care for her. She soaked up all of our pets and cuddles and she had plenty of little kisses in return. She was so happy when we removed the ugly, huge collar she had on; It was way to big for her, for any dog really - unless they were a giant breed. She gave us a big smile as if to say thank you. Sweet Lyrical has left her past behind now. Moving forward we hope she will have a bright future with someone who will truly love, care, and pamper her as she truly deserves.
