About Elle

Ellie is an 10 month old Husky/Herding dog mix with a big heart, a big smile, and plenty of puppy energy to go around! She's medium to large in size and still growing into her paws, but her goofy charm makes her impossible not to love. She is available for adoption through PAWS Rescue inc. Ellie is a curious, playful girl who loves to run, explore, and stick her nose into everything. She's great with kids (though her excitement can sometimes knock little ones over) and she's very social with other dogs. She even plays with cats though she tends to 'bully' them in a silly, playful way, never with aggression. This smart girl is crate trained and potty trained with a doggy door. She isn't leash trained yet, but with a little patience and consistency, she'll catch on quickly. She loves squeaky toys, shin bones, walks, and running around the yard, but she's also a cuddle bug who adores being close to her people. Fun fact: Ellie smiles when she's happy, 'talks' to you when she's excited, and yes she's known to pass some funny little farts, too. Ellie would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog to play with, or with someone who spends a lot of time at home and can keep up with her energy.
