About CANNON

please submit by cut and paste into your browser: www.socalweimrescue.org/pages/adopt Someone shot this cute 4 year old straight out of a CANNON! :) Cannon came to us from a family who is making tough financial decisions having to downsize housing rehoming several dogs in the process. The apartment allows small dogs but not the Husky or the Weimaraner who are both well over the weight limit. Cannon has lived in the same household since he was a puppy. His owner loves him so much he wants what is best for him and it was obviously a huge struggle for him to let Cannon come into rescue. He grew up with his kids and with small and large dogs and even doesn't mind cats. Living with an escape artist Husky, Cannon even stayed put when the Husky would escape the yard and even with the gate wide open he would not wander. There was no noticeable separation anxiety probably because he had lost of four legged friends when the family was away. Cannon is crate trained and a bit of a 'leaner'. He likes to lean on his people when they're sitting in a chair and if at eye level will invite play and give kisses. He knows Sit. Fetch. Shake. He will delight you with dancing on hind legs with a little assistance. He has a favorite green ball he loves and will play fetch and then roll over for belly rubs. He is a little on the smaller side and has a docked tail. He is full weim having known weim parents. Cannon would do well if he has some canine companions and maybe some kids to play with. He would enjoy some hikes and walks. Come meet him! He is currently in the San Marcos area of San Diego waiting for his neuter appointment on October 11 but has all week to meet and fall in love! Could that be with you?? DISCLOSURE: Fireworks are not Cannon's favorite thing.
