About Sailor

This sweet, young fellow is Sailor and he came into our rescue when we were told about four dogs that were living with an unhoused man who allowed the dogs to roam freely in the streets while dodging traffic. Thankfully, we were able to get him to surrender all of the dogs to us. We got them straight to our vet where they were all fully vetted. Sailor is now looking for his forever home! This sweet boy is a 1-year-old, 55lb,Kelpie mix that has had 2 months of full training. He gets anxious in a crate and calms immediately when he can just hang out and be with a person. He is okay in a bigger dog run or enclosed area, but a crate makes him anxious. He is a little shy when you first meet him but warms up quickly! He wants to please and craves human companionship. We are looking for a home for him with another playful dog, owners that are not gone long hours during the day, and a home with a safe and secure yard for him to play in. Active owners that will walk and run him daily is exactly what he needs! He is such a wonderful dog and is good with everyone he meets! He deserves the best forever home out there and we won't stop till we find it!
