Brody is an 8-year-old, 4-pound Pomeranian with classic black-and-white markings and a thick, showy coat that would make Cruella de Vil jealous. Once used as a breeder, he is now retired and ready to enjoy life as a cherished companion. Brody is a gentle, quiet boy who is still learning what it means to be safe and loved. He warms up more quickly to women and is taking a little longer with men, but once he trusts you, his sweetness shines through. He has yet to bark in his foster home, greets you happily when you come in, and dances with excitement at mealtimes. He is good with other dogs and truly seems to benefit from their company, so he would do best in a home with at least one canine friend to help his confidence blossom. He is working on his housebreaking and leash skills and making steady progress. Brody has a Grade 2 out of 4 luxating patella on his right leg, but it does not cause him any pain or lameness. Brody is fully vetted, including an examination, neuter, dental, vaccinations, negative heartworm test, deworming, and microchipping. This pint-sized gentleman is ready to spend his golden years being loved and adored in a calm and caring home. Brody is located with a foster in Houston, TX. The adoption fee is $650.
