About Basil

Basil is a sweet kitten that was likely hit by a car. She was surrendered by a good Samaritan to a local animal hospital that we partner with. The leg fracture was open and infected so she was lucky to be alive. They were able to remove the leg, but they were fearful that the infection would spread to her abdomen so the hospital requested that we hold on to her for a couple of months to heal prior to getting spayed. She has healed from both her spaying and her leg amputation now and is the sweetest girl! She likes to cuddle like a loaf on you. She will probably do best in a home with minimal chaos while she comes out of her shell and learns that you are safe. Want to meet her?
