About Sugar

�Ϭ Meet Sugar �Ϭ Yes, you read that right-this little lady really is a dachshund mix (her mama is one for sure). Her dad? Well, he was more of a traveling salesman type, and we think her gorgeous brindle coat is his parting gift. Sugar is 1 year old, 25 lbs, and full of joy. She adores children, does little tap dances when she's excited, and will run in happy circles just to show off how fun life can be. She loves to cuddle, zoom around the yard with a dog friend, and occasionally nibble toes and fingers just to make sure you're paying attention. This girl is quirky in the best way-she'll keep you laughing with her antics, and she especially loves when you say her name three times fast. She's crate-trained (quiet as a mouse), food motivated, dog-door and potty trained, and not barky. Toys are always a win, and cuddling with her dog friends is one of her favorite pastimes. Because she can be a little shy at first, Sugar needs another friendly dog in the home to help show her the ropes. She thrives when she can follow another pup's lead. A securely fenced yard is also required so she can run, play, and safely explore. Leash training is in progress, but she's such a smart cookie that she'll get the hang of it quickly. Sugar bonds fast and hard-when she chooses you, you'll know it.
