At 9 years old and 58 lbs, she's a petite chonkster who has won over every volunteer with her tippy-taps and hippety-hops. She is gentle and chill, with just the right amount of spunk to keep things interesting. Wherever you are, that's where Luna wants to be. Especially if there's a brush involved. She will fall asleep to you brushing her or running her fingers through her fur. Luna looks forward to any human contact. She has sat quietly through volunteer meetings, served as a very cute welcoming committee, and has been the all-around goodest girl. We are obsessed with her-OBSESSED! She's been in playgroups and was described as tolerant, gentle-dainty, social, and push-pull, meaning she's great with other dogs (slow intros always recommended in the home). I mean come on-could you find a more perfect dog? Luna is nine years old and has some old lady aches and pains, but she doesn't let that slow her down. Luna came into the shelter in June with a possible owner, but no one ever came for her. She has some flystrike on her ears, and it looks like she wasn't very well taken care of. Lately Luna hasn't been wanting to go back in her kennel. She keeps waiting at the door to be let out. it KILLS us. We don't want to have to put her back in her kennel anymore. We desperately want to see her out of the shelter and into a home with people who are as amazing as she is. Please help us get her there! Visit the shelter!
