THIS IS A REMOTE SHELTER WITH LIMITED SPACE, DOGS DO NOT HAVE LONG AT THIS SHELTER- WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR A FOSTER AND RESCUE TO STEP IN, A LOCAL TRANSPORT GROUP HAS PUT A HOLD ON HIM SO HE IS NOT EUTHANIZED, BUT HE STILL NEEDS A SAFE PLACE TO LAND. Help! The shelter reached out to us asking for help for this adorable Chow boy who is only 35 lbs and said to be 4 years young with no noted medical issues. Chukis was found with a matted coat and is chipped, but his owner never showed or responded to the shelter sadly. The shelter also let us know, Chukis is 'People friendly' They also sent us several videos in a dog test with another male and he seemed to be fine, mostly ignoring the other dog. At times, he 'Growls as if he wants to be left alone but doesn't seem aggressive towards other dogs.' We are desperately looking for a good home, or a foster and a rescue (rescue groups need fosters). Some transport to qualified homes, fosters and or rescues is available if along the transport route to Denver, CO, Utah and/or WA. Chukis would be neutered for a home.
