(ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!): He is a Stranger Reactive, but if he is with someone that can work with him, this will improve tremendously. He has a scary bark but he warms up with Proper Introduction and time. Recently, while playing Fetch with the Current Shepherd Parent out front of his home in the cul-de-sac, Henry was in Super High Energy Play Mode when a neighbor unexpectedly walked up towards them and Henry ran and bit the neighbor on the back of the knee. He immediately listened to Recall when the Current Shepherd Parent called for him. Mild bite. Standard Protocol was followed and no file was reported. Henry is such an amazing boy. He will make the right person very happy! He is very well behaved while boating and loves to go on adventures. He is a good traveler and travels from Ohio to Florida frequently. He is very gentle and well behaved with the Current Shepherd Parents elderly mom and dad. His Current Shepherd Parents love him and are trying to do what is best for him. There are High Stressors happening in the home right now which has made Henry more Reactive with increased Anxiety, so we are certain this played a part in the Bite Incident. The Current Shepherd Parents have been packing for the last 6 weeks to move, and even got rid of Henry's favorite couch. This has created lots of Anxiety and confusion for poor Henry. We feel that it is best to place Henry in a home with not a lot of visitors and strangers coming around the home for Henry to thrive and to keep all protected from any future incidents. Once you are 'in' with Henry, he loves you very much and will protect you. Henry does have a possible Abuse History. Re Homing because'|: the Current Shepherd Parents are just not comfortable with keeping Henry because of the Bite Incident. They are having a hard time dealing with Henry being Reactive to strangers and feel it best that he is adopted into a home that can handle the situation and work with him. Will thrive best'|?: in a home with NOT a lot of visitors and/ or strangers coming around the home a lot. Someone who can help work through Henry's Stranger Fear/Reactineness. Comes with: collar, leash, bed, bowls, food container, treats, toys . RF150 . ***If on RM site, please text me for more pics*** ***Serious Inquiries, please message me for the Rehoming Form.
