About Kidd

Adoption Fee: $350
Australian Cattle Dog
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Kidd Meet Kidd, a red male Australian Cattle Dog. He weighs around 40 pounds and was born in August, 2024. Kidd is a quick learner. In his foster home, he quickly learned sit, a great off leash recall to his name, and a recall to a whistle. Kidd is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. Kidd is good with other dogs, and lives with a few in his foster home. His new home must have a confident dog that he can follow in new situations. He loves to run around with his foster sisters and explore the yard. He is also timid in new situations and leans in his foster sisters to know what to do. Kidd is good with livestock. He has politely been introduced to goats, horses, and donkeys. We do not know how he would be with cats. Kidd is he's great on a leash, and loves car rides. He will make an excellent adventure pal. He even loves water! Kidd starts unsure when meeting new people. He warms up to women faster, but is still wary of his foster dad. His new home is likely best as a home with women, and it won't be a love at first sight meet and greet. A heeler savvy woman will not find this to be a challenge. That said, he isn't a fit for a home with small kids or a busy household. He also won't be okay in a busy neighborhood, nor does he want to go to Starbucks, local restaurants, dog parks... For the right person, he is a gem. Kidd is one of those Cattle Dogs who loves to be busy, and then is happy to chill on the couch with his person. Kidd is pretty sure he is a lap dog. Kidd wants nothing more than to find his very own forever person. He also requires that his new person gives ear rubs and head massages! Kidd is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Southern CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
