About Buddy Guy

Very sweet, friendly, and energetic Great Pyrenees mix. Found as stray in 2/2025. He was malnourished and much of the fur on his posterior back and hind legs was gone (due to skin allergy with secondary Staph skin infection) when found. With TLC and meds he is now happy and healthy. He weighs about 60 lbs, so he is on the small side for a GP. Very smart, vaxxed, neutered, chipped, and crate trained! He would be a good companion for a young or middle aged adult or couple or family with older children/teenagers who can give him the exercise and attention he needs. Fun and goofy boy, but too energetic and large for smaller/younger children. He can be protective/possessive of his food/treats (possibly from his street days). He can be destructive/chewy and digs, which he will likely outgrow when he matures from puppyhood into adulthood.
