About Maple

Meet Maple If you're looking for a perfectly amazing young dog, Maple is incredible. From the moment we first met this beauty we were in love. Maple looks to be a silver labrador retriever. She is stunning and has the best personality. Maple was at a high kill shelter when we pulled her out. She greeted each of our caretakers and volunteers as if we were long lost friends. She came up to everyone with a happily wagging tail and affection, offering her paw in friendship. Maple is quietly confident. She knows everyone will love her, and we do! She is good with other dogs and may enjoy having another pup in the house to play with. Maple loves playing fetch. She will happily play for as long as you are willing. On her first day with us we discovered that a tennis ball is a good friend. Lol. Maple is two-years-old. She weighs 48 lbs. She has a beautiful silver colored, short coat, and a pretty face. Maple is athletic and will enjoy walks and hikes. She walks well on a leash and travels well in a car. We'll assess Maple with cats for potential adopters. This girl is going to make for a wonderful companion. If you love a labrador, Maple is exceptional. We cannot say enough good things about this young dog. Get your application in. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
