Meet Maverick - A Loyal, Loving Companion & Adventure Buddy Maverick is a sweet, active dog. He: �'ۢ Is house-trained and knows several commands: friend, sit, stay, down, come touch, up, leave it, and 'get in your bed' �'ۢ Walks pretty good on leash and would do best in a front clip harness to minimize pulling �'ۢ Loves trail walks �'ۢ Is good with other dogs (lived with 2 medium sized dogs). Will be best in a home that does not have an alpha dog �'ۢ Calm and content while you work from home �'ۢ Non-destructive when left alone (except for dog toys-fair game!) �'ۢ Respectful at mealtime �'ۢ Gets excited when he sees other dogs on walks. With patience and consistent training, Maverick has made noticeable progress and is beginning to calm down more quickly. �'ۢ Is a smart, affectionate dog who thrives with love and activity This sweet boy is really struggling in the shelter environment.
