About Gumby

Sweet Gumby has been at the shelter since the end of July and it is starting to wear on his gentle soul. He is quiet, calm, shows no reactivity towards dogs or cats in the shelter and is incredibly sweet! He came to the shelter very underweight yet he still takes treats so very gently. He would LOVE a foster or adopter. He went on a short staycation and had amazing notes! More details on sweet Gumby: - Gumby has the cutest teddy bear face + the biggest, soulful eyes - Friendly, affectionate + very docile - Very gentle on leash + when taking treats - Treat motivated so likely easier to train - Very curious + loves exploring the play yard + people-watching - Usually Non-reactive to passing dogs + cats (met a dog through the fence + was very calm) - needs very slow intros to other dogs in the home while he builds confidence - Lower energy + very quiet (doesn't make a peep) so perfect for apartment living - Great in a car - Well mannered in the house on his day out + during his short term staycation - Looking for a family to give him some TLC for his weight Gumby is available at Char Meck Animal Care + Control.
