You can email us to request an application at: [email protected] Queens, NY - Tiger, a beautiful pure breed Saint Bernard is 4 to 5-year-old (he should be around five because he was abandoned we don't know when exactly he was born) St. Bernard who came from a very tough background, and I'm hoping to find him a loving home. TIGER is around160lbs, Neutered, but needs vax to be updated. Owner is working on trying to get those done. FROM CURRENT OWNER: I first learned about him at a pet shop that had taken him in after he was abandoned by his previous owner. The shop owner told me that Tiger had been abused and mistreated since he was a puppy. Because of his large size, the shop couldn't keep him for long and was facing the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him if no one stepped in. That's when I volunteered to foster him. Despite being neglected, he is the sweetest boy. Loves strangers and children etc. No issues with aggression or fear. Over time, Tiger became part of our family. He's a sweet, protective giant with a gentle heart. He does well with other dogs. He currently lives with a Male Rottie and a female corgi mix. Tiger is good around children, (unsure about cats) but he needs an experienced pet owner who can care for a large breed. Unfortunately, I'm moving into a small apartment and can no longer provide the space he deserves. My hope is to find Tiger a safe, caring forever home where he can continue to thrive. Issues: Tiger is prone to intestinal issues he has a strict diet of only kibble. Anything else he eats he will get diarrhea. We found a brand that works best for him, Orejin. Downside is it's quite expensive. FROM RESCUE, DAWN: WE HAVE FIXED SCORES OF DOGS WITH BELLY ISSUES. OFTEN IT HAS TO DO WITH GUT HEALTH WHICH I CAN HELP YOU CURE THAT QUICKLY. He lost quite a few of his front teeth when he was a baby due to malnutrition. But he is healthy and the missing teeth do not hinder his ability to eat. Along his body you can see scars too. Very sad but he is still a good boy. He was potty trained but we relocated him where he is living outside. He's not on the same routine. No accidents in the home.
