Hi, I'm Ruby %9D%A4%8F Just a week ago, I was wandering the streets of South Memphis, scared and alone. A kind person rescued me, took me to the vet, cleaned me up, and gave me a safe place to stay. That's when I became Ruby-because even after everything, I still shine. Right now, I'm being cared for in a garage. It's safe, but it's not a real home. My rescuers love me deeply, but they already have two small dogs who are fearful of big dogs, and I struggle when I see other dogs too-I bark because of the trauma I carry from the streets. They're doing everything they can for me, but I can't stay here much longer. I desperately need a foster or, even better, a forever family. Here's what you should know about me: About 2 years old, 78 lbs A total love bug with adults-I crave human affection Potty trained, know basic commands, and decent on leash Not yet tested with kids or cats Most likely used for breeding, then dumped when no longer wanted I'm scheduled to be spayed soon through the Humane Society here in Memphis, and after that, I'll be ready to move forward. But I can't wait much longer-I need someone willing to open their home to me now, whether as an emergency foster or an adopter ready to give me forever. I've already been thrown away once. Please don't let me be left waiting too long for the love and stability I deserve. With hope, Ruby
