That's the story of Luna, a stunning senior 10-year-old white Pomeranian whose life recently changed. She's now looking for a devoted family who understands her special needs and is ready to shower her with the love she has to give! Luna is truly a one-of-a-kind girl. She's a very special needs pommie, as she is now blind and was recently diagnosed with a Grade 4 heart murmur. But don't let that fool you-her heart is absolutely overflowing with love! Why Luna is the Perfect Companion A Loyal Adventurer: Luna would be the perfect companion for someone who is still active and enjoys short, leisurely walks. She absolutely adores riding in the car! A Vocal Watchdog: She is very vocal and will be sure to let you know exactly when it's breakfast, dinner, or treat time! Dog-Friendly: She gets along with other dogs, though the ideal household would have no more than one other small, calm dog to help keep her world predictable. Amazing Resilience: Despite losing 14 teeth during a necessary dental procedure, her appetite is strong, and she loves her food and treats! Understanding Luna's Needs Since Luna is blind, she needs a patient family who can help her find her way around initially. The good news is that she is smart and resilient and will eventually learn the 'lay of the land' in her new home. We have managed her heart condition with care: She is currently on heart medication, which costs approximately $68 a month. She also takes Pawhealer, natural Chinese herbs to support her heart.$39.70 every two months. Recent vet visits show no liquid buildup in her lungs (confirmed by x-rays) and her bloodwork is good. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and devoted companion to share your life with, this sweet, beautiful girl is ready to complete your family. She may need extra care, but the love she gives back is priceless. Is your home the special, loving environment Luna deserves?
