This darling pair of 11-year-old bonded girls have had a bit of a rough life. The girls were left in an apartment when their elderly parents went to a nursing home. They also had not been outside for at least 2 years since their mom could not carry them down from a 2nd floor apartment with steep steps. Despite this neglect, these girls are very sweet, loving and foster mom can hardly believe they are 11 years old! Bella initially is very timid and takes a bit to warm up, however, she is extremely sweet and wants nothing more than to be close once she realizes you are her person. She recently had a dental cleaning and due to years of neglect lost all but one of her teeth. That, however, was the best thing to happen to her as she had been in severe pain for a very long time, and now her personality really shines through. Bella's tails wags constantly! Baby Girl, or Buns as foster mom affectionately calls her, is just as sweet as her sister, and also very social and a bit of a foodie. Baby girl is on a diet as she was very much overweight when she first came into rescue. Both girls absolutely LOVE being outside to wander the yard, get excited for walks and car rides. They show absolutely no aggressive behavior even when scared. The girls are good with other small dogs, cats and children. They are potty trained but need to be kept on a consistent schedule. They are crate trained but prefer to sleep in the big bed, much like all princesses do! These are just a few of the wonderful qualities these girls have, and they would love nothing more than to have a forever home of their very own. Their ideal adopter would be retired or home most of the time, as these girls have been neglected for years and deserve to be the center of their person's universe! Both girls are spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. They are being fostered in York PA and are available for an adoption fee of 600.00.
