You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Meet Happy Hi, I'm Happy! I'm a boy who is about 7 years old. I weigh 49lbs. I'm a loving boy who is looking for my forever home. There is not a lot that is known about my history, but it is known that I lived with several other dogs before and got along well with them. I also came to the shelter with a pronounced limp, and an x-ray confirmed that I have a torn cruciate. This means that I am not a dog who can be a marathon partner or go on long hikes. I still very much enjoy walks around the block. I will come with a knee brace that helps hold my leg comfortably. I'm in a foster home where they say the following about me: -I'm house trained and have nice potty manners -I enjoy a crate to have as my safe space. Right now, I have one without a door and I like to nap in there -Sometimes they even find me sleeping in the shower! -Sweet to all people I meet, just a little shy at first -Walks softly on a leash, but sometimes I zigzag (I want to herd!) -Loves playing with toys; doesn't tear them up -Stays off the furniture except for the bed -Loves to be brushed I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives.
