About Dolly

Dolly, a 7-year-old spayed German Shepherd with a petlink chip and collar, needs a new home. Originally from Alamosa, CO, she was rehomed to Oroville, WA a year ago after her previous elderly owner could no longer care for her. Dolly was kept crated or leashed since she was a puppy and showed aggression toward other dogs, so she should ideally be the only dog. She's now too much for our 72-year-old mother to handle due to food aggression and not listening, possibly due to a preference for male owners. Dolly barks excessively in cars, jumps on furniture, and demands constant attention from my husband, behaving like a puppy. She's well-behaved in a camper at night but needs supervision off-leash during the day to prevent running off. With a new baby, our family can't provide the attention she needs.
