About Gem

Meet Gem, an 8-year-old husky with a heart as soft as her fur. Unlike the typical high-energy husky, Gem is a gentle, low-key soul who's happiest simply being loved. She's easygoing, affectionate, and would cherish the chance to spend her golden years in a cozy home instead of a noisy shelter. This sweet senior girl is ready to be your loyal companion and fill your days with quiet joy. Gem is in foster care with a young child, has shown to be great on leash, and not reactive to other animals. She hasn't had the chance to meet other dogs yet, but we think she could happily live with a canine sibling after proper introductions. Gem is not yet altered, so is only available to local adopters (within 30mins of shelter) or a licensed rescue group.
