Hello, darlings! I'm Jenny, a distinguished 9-year-old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel lady who's finally ready to embrace the refined lifestyle I was born for! At a perfectly proportioned 15 pounds with the most exquisite chestnut and white coat (if I do say so myself), I'm discovering that life has so much more to offer than my previous rather�'�| limited accommodations. As one of the Coastal Cavaliers rescued from a breeder, I'm learning that dogs like me who come from those circumstances need a little extra time to master the art of being a proper family companion - but I'm nothing if not a quick study with impeccable manners! I must confess, I've recently made the most delightful discovery - this lovely green carpet called 'grass' that's apparently the most appropriate powder room for a lady of my breeding! My potty training has become quite refined now that I understand proper etiquette. I've also come to appreciate the finer things in life, like plush couches that are perfect for afternoon tea (or naps), and the wonderful invention of human laps that seem custom-made for petite ladies such as myself. My fur is absolutely divine - silky soft and perfect for gentle petting sessions. I'm wonderfully social with other dogs - we have the most charming little group going! I would absolutely flourish in a home with another well-mannered dog and older children who appreciate a lady's need for gentle handling. I should mention that I do sleep rather deeply and have been told I provide the most adorable little snores - think of it as my charming bedtime serenade! I share my evening quarters with my dear friend Sabrina (rescued with me), though I do enjoy the occasional solo retreat to my crate for a proper lady's rest. I'm still mastering the art of leash walking - apparently, it requires more coordination than anticipated so hope my new family will continue working with me! I'm seeking a patient, loving family who will help me blossom into the wonderful companion I know I can be, complete with proper training and all the refined comforts a Cavalier lady deserves.
