About Maya

Maya is a beautiful 6-7 year old, spayed female Catahoula Leopard Dog with striking markings and a heart full of love. We adopted her when she was 3, and she's been a wonderful companion ever since. �'ۢ Energy & Personality: Maya is spirited, playful, and thrives on activity. She would be happiest in a home with a yard, or with someone who enjoys being outdoors and can give her the exercise she deserves. �'ۢ Temperament: She's affectionate with people and great with kids and adults. She can be a little selective with other dogs, so she'd do best as the only dog or with proper introductions. �'ۢ Training: She is house-trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, and has a sweet, somewhat submissive nature once she warms up. �'ۢ Why We're Rehoming: With my job requiring frequent travel, my wife pregnant, and multiple young kids at home, we cannot give Maya the time and attention she truly needs. This decision is hard, but it's in her best interest to find a family who can keep up with her energy and give her the active life she deserves. Ideal Home: An adopter who can match her energy level, provide daily exercise, and give her the love and stability she thrives on.
