About Curly Q

Meet Curly Q ! An adorable little dog rescued off of the streets by some good samaritans.. Curly is approx. 6 years and 12 pounds of hope. After spending life surviving on the streets where he was so matted and couldn't see, he is now recovered.. Curly is getting a taste of delicious healthy food, clean water, soft beds and his favorite stuffies. He is having so much fun with toys ! He is soaking up all the love and attention that he never experienced in the past. He likes to be told he's a 'good boy'. You can see him melt when you tell him that and rub his ears. Despite his hard past, he is a lover. He is gentle, sweet, and calm. He is active & playful and loves his walks. He is very loyal and wants to please you and be with you. He bonds very quickly with his person. Curly is a lap dog and a pro at snuggles. Being a Poodle/Bichon he is hypo allergenic and non-shedding but will need regular professional rooming. Curly was given the initial Q because his tail makes a perfect little curly Q. He had a spa day when he came into the rescue, and we think his first bath ever. He was groomed and had his matted fur removed. Curly has been neutered, vaccinated ,blood tested And Microchipped . He received a dental cleaning and his fecal test was negative. Curly Q will need a loving home who will keep him through life's changes since he has a long life ahead of him. He is a survivor and has moved right in his foster home and adjusting very nicely. He is housetrained. Curly would love to be the only king in his castle so he can have his person to bond with. He is good with cats and kids too. Curly will need to have a secure yard to keep him safe. He will also need to be watched when outside since this little guy would be defenseless against wildlife.
