About KATIE IS URGENT

German Shorthaired Pointer / American Staffordshire Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Name: KATIE Kennel ID: 8 INS GAFFNEY, SC. Hold Ends: Shelter Hold Has Ended. Needs help ASAP! Breed: Terrier x Appearance: Brindle Gender: Female Estimated Age: 4yrs Estimated Weight: 45lbs Health: No obvious issues. She does appear to have weaned puppies recently. Bio: Katie is a beautiful soul who literally found her way into someone's heart. She was discovered near a local river, alone but full of hope. She happily followed the first kind person she could and never looked back. Since then, she has shown nothing but love, loyalty, and joy. She loves companionship, fresh air, and curling up close to her favorite people. She loves meeting new friends and gets along with everyone she has been introduced to. She was surrendered because the person who found and kept her for a few weeks is unable to keep a dog long-term. Now, Katie is looking for a family to love and spoil her forever. Other Dogs: Tests well with other dogs. Video available by request. Cats: Non-reactive. We recommend using caution until she shows that she can be tested. Children: We do not have kids to test with. We always recommend supervising children around dogs/puppies. Sometimes our dogs/puppies are active and might be too big for small children, and sometimes the children can be too rough around them. Leash: She walks well on a leash. Additional Information: Shelter stray hold has ended.
