Kids: 10 and older because he's so small at 5 lbs Other dogs: friendly with other dogs. He's best with the small dogs due to his size. Cats: yes, cat safe Housing: home with outdoor or patio space will be easiest for him. Max has cataracts but can still see shadows. He can not go to a home with a pool & single story home would be easiest for him. Our vet described it as being able to see across a hazy or smokey room. Personality: he is a happy boy, full of personality. Went into his foster home, figured out the lay of the land, and settled in seamlessly. Max is your typical tiny demanding Yorkie. Your life revolves around him. We adore him. A must meet! What we know: Max was owner surrendered. His prior owner said she could not afford a dog. She also let us know that he has never been to the vet. Max saw our vet, and although he does have cataracts & limited vision, he is otherwise healthy. His blood work was perfect. He has had a dental with 9 extractions. He can still see shadows & his cataracts do not require medication. He settled in and figured out the lay of the land in his foster home seamlessly and does his potty business outside. Medical: healthy, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Normal blood work, had a dental with 9 extractions. Does have cataracts, but can still see shadows. He gets around his foster home with no problems. He does not require any medication.
