About Rye

Rye is a two-year-old 41 pound Basenj mix who is uber playful and ready to meet the world. He's currently in manners 1 puppy classes and is doing very well. Rye is extremely food motivated and excited to learn new things. His goofy mannerisms are wacky and sure to make anyone laugh. He has the habit of doing these big fully body wiggles while giving you these huge excited eyes. He is the HUGEST cuddle bug and loves to hang out with anyone. He has been super friendly with dogs and people and wants to meet anybody he sees on the street. So far he hasn't met cats but we have no reason to believe it'd go poorly due to his friendly demeanor and easy to get along with personality. He's a vocal little pup making adorable little grumbles and loves to show his belly for pets. He's very easy to please and happily goes along with any activity. He would probably do well in a home with a doggie friend or some kids to play with. There's no end to the amount of love this little guy has to give! He's Low -riding Pocket Sized boy. He is a great cuddler and plays beautifully with dogs. He will remain a great medium size. He is uber sweet and very playful with his fellow pups. He is Healthy, Happy, Socialized and Joyful. He loves to play with his toys then go out and rough house with his doggie friends then come back in and sit at your feet while you work. He is a non barker and is great in the car. He's received professional training and doing well in all aspects. His leash walking has greatly improved. He loves the couch at TV time. He loves to hang out in the kitchen with you sitting at your feet while you work. He's a chatty guy with a cute little voice. He doesn't bark. He is in a foster home. Loves Kids.
