Rescued from underneath a car at a mechanic shop, Subaru and her siblings were born to a young momma cat and faced an uncertain start, arriving underweight and dehydrated. But Subaru is a fighter - and today, she's thriving. This little sun-worshipper loves nothing more than curling up in a sunbeam for her afternoon naps. While she's still shy around people, Subaru is blossoming every day in her foster home. She's especially curious when her foster mom films her - she'll stare right into the camera, as if she knows she's the star. With patience and love, she's already beginning to show her gentle, affectionate side. Subaru is a playful girl who can't resist the laser pointer, string toys, and chasing balls (or her siblings) around the house. She finds comfort in the company of other cats and would do best in a home with feline companions to help her continue growing in confidence. After all, Subaru means unite in Japanese!
