About Monte

Monte is a purebred black and white Havanese. Rehoming due to owner being very ill. He is very smart and learns tricks easily. Has been housebroken if you let him outside often. He would make a good babysitter/ playmate for puppies or cats. He gets along with other dogs, and doesn't mind cats. He's an inside dog and cannot tolerate the heat well. He does not like being alone , so he needs a playmate dog to keep him company. You would need to take him to the groomer for nail trims, face trims, and coat trims. He does not like his feet or face touched. That's the only reason he may not tolerate small children. Otherwise, he's a good boy. And will let you know if someone is at your door. He would protect you from strangers. I'm looking especially for someone who knows the breed. Or may need a companion for another lonely dog. Adoption fee is $50 with Veterinarian recommendation. I want the best home for him.
