These amazing speckles belong to Benny, a Cattle Dog Border Collie mix. Benny is between 1-2 years old and weighs about 32 pounds. Benny is a fun, smart guy. In a short time, he has learned sit and is house trained. He looks to his people for direction and will learn more easily. Benny is a friendly guy with people. He starts a hint shy and quickly warms up. He is also good with large and small dogs. He loves to play, so older sedate dogs won't appreciate him. He would be fine as an only dog or with another dog at home who loves to play. He would be best in home with no small children. Benny likes to have fun. He likes to fetch and loves toys. He is also good on leash and will appreciate walks and hikes. He is a polite passenger in the car, and a bit scared as it's newer to him. He jumps right in when asked, so a bit more practice will make him a pro. Benny finds the busy city life to be a bit much. He doesn't appreciate the train going by. He is looking for a home in a suburban or rural environment where we have seen him thrive. As for his new home, they will be lucky. This guy is fun. He is sweet and smart. Plus, he likes to cuddle before bed and first thing in the morning. Benny will be a lovely adventure pal and all around buddy. Benny is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Philadelphia, PA and is ready to meet adopters who can come here or meet part way to adopt.
