About Roxie

This post is going out with a prayer - that the right angel, someone who knows just how special black dogs are, will see Roxie and step in to save her. Roxie is yet another black dog being overlooked, and it breaks our hearts. Did you know black dogs are the most likely to be passed by in shelters and the most at risk of being euthanized? Roxie deserves so much more than that. She truly checks every single box: Loves people Dog-friendly House & crate trained Playful, affectionate, and loyal Walks well on leash All that's missing is YOU. Roxie has been stuck in boarding for far too long, patiently waiting for her forever family or even a foster home. But now the clock is ticking the facility she's in will no longer allow rescue dogs, and we have just 30 days to get her to safety. At only 2.5 years old, Roxie has a whole life ahead of her. She was surrendered by an owner struggling with substance abuse, and instead of letting her end up in a shelter, NJ Bully Rescue stepped in to give her a fighting chance. Now, she's counting on us to find her forever. Meet Roxie - the love bug with a PhD in Cuddles and a Master's in Tail Wags. She's smart, sweet, and silly. She loves fetch, tug-of-war, and even helps 'walk' other dogs for her foster mom. Crate trained, housebroken, and full of love - she's the kind of dog that makes every day brighter.
