About Kujo

Kujo is a 1-year-old, 52-lb sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Still very much a playful pup, he's bouncy, silly, and sometimes a little rough in play-but he listens to direction, has medium energy, and is soaking up training. He's the kind of 'shadow dog' who wants to be by your side as much as possible. A few fun things about Kujo: - Loves stuffed animals-he'll do the cutest little shake when he grabs one! (Just keep the valuables out of reach) - Foster dad can pick him up and carry him like a baby-he soaks up the love! - Adapting quickly to new things, even noises that used to scare him - Enjoys brushing, cuddles, and attention Kujo does well with other dogs, especially those closer to his size who can keep up with his playful energy. He's met a tiny dog in foster care and been polite overall, but when excited he may chase-so a medium/large dog companion would be ideal. Because he's still a bouncy puppy working on manners, Kujo is not recommended for families with small children or elderly members. He warms up to women right away and, with proper introductions, becomes just as sweet and cuddly with men. This pretty boy is ready for a chow-savvy, active home where he can keep blossoming into the loyal, loving companion we know he is. **Kujo is being fostered in San Antonio, Texas.
