About Penny

Meet Penny! She is a sweet, sensitive girl who can be a little anxious at times, but with patience and understanding she will be your most loyal companion. Penny is playful, smart, and LOVES to chase the ball. She knows 'sit,' 'stay,' and 'shake,' and she has the cutest habit of carrying socks around (but never chewing them up!). She's been going to the groomer since she was a pup and does well with baths and nail trims, especially if given a little extra help for stressful moments like vet visits. She's happiest at home relaxing with her family or out hiking on the trail. Penny can be reactive when meeting new people or dogs, but she has never fought or bitten (other than one food-related incident with our cat, which was very out of character). In fact, she's usually gentle and nurturing with kittens and cats. Penny thrives in a calm, steady environment with patient people who can give her time to settle in and feel secure.
