About Maddie

Maddie is a pure bread 5 year old miniature dapple dachshund. We bought her from a local breeder in VA in 2021 during the height of COVid 19. At first, because the kids were not in school, we spent a lot of time with her. Over the last year, my husband and I divorced. Maddie has moved 2 times and hasn't adjusted the best. She is used to living in a home with another female dog as 2 cats. She loves to play catch and fetches her ball. Balls are her absolute favorite toys. My kids are getting older and we are rarely home. She has been having some separation anxiety. I think she would do really well in a home where someone could spend more time with her and take her on walks. We love her and will be sad to see her go. I just don't think it's fair to her right now.
