My dog is 4 turning 5 on November 4 of this year. We have had her since she was born. She is a brindle terrier mixed with something else. She is not friendly with other animals. She just likes people. She has not been socialized with kids and doesn't realize her size sometimes. She has separation anxiety even though she is rarely alone. We are looking to surrender her as we have another dog in the house who is getting older. We have to keep them separate and it really has had a negative impact on all of us. The dogs don't get to roam the house as much anymore and it feels like they are suffering. They get all of the essentials but we aren't able to spoil them the way they deserve which is hard when one of our dogs is older and we don't have many years left. Luce is a very high energy pup and needs more walks a day then I can manage. I have a medical condition where I don't do well with the heat which is hard to manage in Florida. We just want a safe place for Luce where she can live out the rest of her life in a loving home. We do not want to have to put her down, but with my health issues that might be a reality.
