Rehoming Gusher is a very difficult decision, but after consulting with a certified trainer/behavior specialist, I believe he may thrive better in a home that can fully meet his needs. Gusher is a beautiful, energetic boy who loves to run and explore - he can hike for miles and absolutely shines outdoors. He already knows the 'place' command and, with continued training, has so much potential. That said, Gusher does have fear-based reactivity. He is especially sensitive to sudden movements when he's resting or asleep, and he will need an experienced adopter who understands anxious and fearful dogs. A structured environment, his own designated sleeping space, and continued positive training will help him feel safe and secure. The ideal home for Gusher will be with someone who: Has experience with training and behavior work. Is patient, consistent, and committed to helping him succeed. Can provide him with both physical exercise and mental stimulation. I've tried my best as a single person living with roommates, but Gusher deserves more than I can give him right now. I don't want to place him in a shelter - I'm hoping to find someone who sees his potential and can give him the stable, loving life he deserves. If you have the experience and heart to help Gusher continue his journey, please reach out. He will be a loyal companion to the right person.
