*NEEDS TO BE SPAYED/NEUTERED SOON AFTER ADOPTION. NO BREEDERS PLEASE! HE IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR BREEDING. We have high standards and are being cautious with Rocky's next home and we will be careful who we choose for his next family) Rocky is 10lbs and around 3 to 4 yrs old. He is a very sweet affectionate dog who needs a home with a fenced in yard where he can live his best life permanently, safely and with a lot of love. He has been with 2 other owners before me but I am not sure of details only that he was not treated well by his first owners. Second owners traveled a lot. He is very loving and loves to cuddle. He loves to greet us when we get home with zoomies. He loves to be outside in our yard supervised, loves walks with leash and car rides in car seat we have for him. He does not do well with pet beds or some stuffies which he rips apart. he does well with an indoor dog house we bought for him and his blankie. He will let you know that he has to go to the bathroom when in the car by whining. He has done well with the neighbors small children and he socializes with the neighbors dog and wags his tail when they see each other through a fence but has not had direct contact with the other dog. Rocky loves to bark and warn us when people are near our home. He does not do so well with trimmig nails at the vets and doesnt like people coming at him with healtcare gloves or working gloves. Rocky likes to be left alone when eating his bone or treats. Rocky is free roamed in the home and trained in sitting down and bathroom outside and on a pee pad at night if he needs too. Rocky understands 'SIT' and 'OUTSIDE' and the word outside in Spanish. He will go to his leash/harness when he knows he is going out or you say the words. He also knows his name well. When Rocky came to us he did have some anxiety but now doing better. He does not like motorcycles and fireworks. We never had any major problem with him. Our schedules and priorities have changed. We want to make sure Rocky goes to a good forever home where he can get the attention and love. We would prefer a home with a yard for him. This is hard for us but has to be done unfortunately. We will miss him tremendously.
