About Max

Max: - Is a lap cat - Likes being petted - Is a happy cat. He sometimes lays on the ground looking for belly rubs. - Will curl up next to me on the bed at night. - Dry food: Purina One, Canned food: Fancy Feast. Loves treats. - Likes string toys and a stick underneath a piece of paper (newspaper works well). Max arrived in 2015, & helped his brother Skipper adjust when he came here in 2019. Not territorial or unwilling to accept another pet into the mix, he was patient & friendly for the time it took Skipper to acclimate to his new surroundings. Max is a sweet, sweet boy. My retired husband passed away unexpectedly a couple of years ago. Since then I've been trying to look after Max & his brother at the same level the two of us did. But with my declining health and various time commitments, I've realized by myself I am no longer able to achieve the same level of care they had while both of us were here. Plus, I am relocating in a couple of months, and Max doesn't travel well.
