About Bucky

We're trying to find a new home for our outside dog Bucky. We had him tested with Embark. He is a Boxer, Pit, Lab, and Chow mix. He is 60lbs. He is very sweet with our kids, even the younger ones. He will jump around and play when the older ones are out but will stand still and is very gentle with the toddlers. He was not very well socialized with other dogs as a pup but he trains very easily just requires patience. It only took a few days for him to get used to our puppy. He's got a pretty intimidating bark that scares people which is great for a guard dog but because he was not well trained and socialized we don't trust him off the leash. He's never bitten anyone or any other dog but we are just nervous to take a chance because of his apparent aggressive behavior. He's been chained up outside and I don't wanna keep him chained up anymore. A couple months ago I did some basic leash training and introduced him to my chickens and he caught on very quickly so he is super smart and trains well but I just don't have the time to give him what he really needs. He is fully vaccinated and current on all his meds.
