About Nova

Nova is an American Pit Bull Terrier Mix, i think she's around 5 years old, spayed and weights about 40lbs. I found Nova as a stray in 2023, I worked hard to find her home, which I did, but when I went to return her home, her owner told me she was going to take her to the shelter cause the pup was her sons and she didn't want her anymore. I decided to rehome Nova myself, because I didn't want her to end up in the shelter. I found her a home a week later. She stayed there for 2 years, but her owner passed away, and her daughter did not want to care for Nova. Novas owner reached out to me, and I decided to take her in again. Nova does not get along with any animals and she is leash reactive, but other than that she is a great dog. She is house trained, super playful, fun, athletic, and overall, just a sweet pup. I want to find her a home and not take her to the shelter, but I have pups of my own so i cannot keep her, and I have been trying to rehome her for about 4 months now. I just really want Nova to have a forever home because she's the sweetest girl, she deserves a safe home where she's loved and welcomed.
