About Ava

Meet Ava! Ava is a 4-year-old pittie mix with a heart full of love and a story that will tug at yours. She spent the first three years of her life indoors, enjoying all the comforts of home-soft couches, constant companionship, and yes, the occasional table scrap. Sadly, Ava was recently left at the rescue gate in a crate, with her belongings in a trash bag. Despite this heartbreaking turn of events, she remains the sweetest girl we always knew she was. Ava is not happy living outdoors in a pen-she longs to be back inside where she belongs, soaking up love and attention. She has quickly shown us some of her favorite things: she adores men, loves car rides (even if the car isn't moving!), and has been friendly with every dog she has met. Ava has shown zero aggression and continues to impress us with her gentle, affectionate personality. This special girl will thrive in a home with a privacy-fenced yard and no children under 12.
