About Tyson

Here's your next adventure buddy! Meet Tyson! He is a beautiful male Husky pup with a serious zest for life. Recently neutered and vaccinated, he is ready for his forever home. Tyson has classic Husky traits. He's sharp, energetic, and sometimes stubborn! His middle name is go, go, go! Let's face it. Tyson needs someone smarter than he is who loves the challenge and reward of working with a high-drive, intelligent breed. He needs someone who's patient, experienced, and committed to consistent training. Tyson also needs respect for his boundaries. As a typical Husky, he tends toward resource guarding. The shelter staff are working on this, and seeing progress, but it would be much better for him to work with an experienced adopter in a home setting. Because of his intensity and sensitivity, Tyson needs an adult-only home where he can have space, understanding, and calm guidance. He's not an apartment dog. Do not apply if you are new to dog ownership or have kids. These are non-negotiables, but please look at other APCSM dogs! To ensure this special dog thrives, he requires someone: (1) with Husky experience or similar breeds (2) active and outdoorsy; (3) committed to providing enrichment and training; and (4) who can provide a structured, predictable environment.
