SSanford is a wonderful Shepherd/Collie mix who is about 3 years old and weighs a sturdy 69 pounds. He has received all of his vaccinations, is heartworm negative, and has been neutered, making him ready for a new home. When Sanford first arrived as a stray, he was in rough shape, suffering from a severe flea infestation that left him with painful patches of raw skin. Thankfully, after receiving medical treatment along with plenty of love and attention, he has made a remarkable recovery. His fur is starting to grow back, and he is transforming into a beautiful, healthy dog. Sanford is already house trained and shows impressive discipline by refusing to potty in his kennel, making him a great candidate for indoor living. While he has displayed curiosity and interest in other dogs, he hasn't had the chance to engage in playtime with any yet. Please note that we are not a no-kill shelter, and we must make tough decisions regarding animals who are ill or aggressive. **Adoption Fees: ** - $165 for dogs under 5 years old - $100 for dogs over 5 years old - $200 for cell dogs. Your adoption fee covers vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella), microchipping, heartworm and Lyme testing, rabies vaccination, spay/neuter, and a dog license. All dogs must be spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter; if this hasn't been done, we'll schedule an appointment for you. **Payment: ** We accept cash only-no checks, debit, or credit cards, please.
