About TeeTee

Meet our wee one! This cutie pie is a yorkie mix who is about one year old and weighs around 6 pounds. We want to find a home for TeeTee but need to be very clear about her behavior.�%A0 She will growl, snap, try to bite and bite if she can until she gets to know you.�%A0 The last two applicants chose not to adopt her because of this behavior.�%A0 �%A0She is good with her foster mom and her grandkids but it took time and a hands off approach until she was able to trust them.�%A0 Whoever adopts her has to understand that she is not going to be nice when you first meet her and they she may bite you or a family member until she has time to bond with you.�%A0 TeeTee is a whole lot of attitude in one little body! She loves running with the pack in her foster home and might be a little too much for a big dog who doesn't want to be bossed around! TeeTee walks well onleash and will not potty in the house as long as you take her out often. She enjoys car rides and will cuddle up to you after she's worn herself out after a long day of play. TeeTee is is looking for an active home with a whole lot of patience! She would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and at least one other happy, little dog for her to play with. Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
