Background: Current Shepherd Parent has had Joey for about 2 years from a co-worker who took him in from an Abusive Situation. UTD on shots WITH record. NOT Fixed. Good with kids. Good with dogs. Good with cats. House trained. Crate trained. Any known medical issues?:NO . ENERGY LEVEL: HIGH. PREY DRIVE LEVEL:AVERAGE . Weighs 50 lbs. Currently on PURINA CHICKEN and RICE food. Good with car rides?:YES! Socialized with other dogs and/or people?:YES . Good with meeting new people? (ALWAYS USE PROPER INTRODUCTION!):YES . Loves: Car rides - outside time - belly rubs - treats - walks - giving kisses - sharing chicken nuggets with his Person - playing Chase - toys - Pup Cups - cuddling - chilling on the couch - playing with kids - playing with other dogs he knows - balls - being near his Person - new toys. *Intelligent and knows Basic Commands?:YES. Went through Basic Training Class . *Good Recall? (ALWAYS RETRAIN BEFORE ALLOWING OFF LEASH): NP. *Good on a Leash?: FAIR. *Lovable?: YES. *Eager and fast learner?: YES. Bite History?: YES. Several months ago, a 19-year-old visitor bent down to try to give Joey a kiss while he was eating (hello, duh) and he bit her on the lip. No issues before or after this incident. Such a great boy. Will be the best companion for the right person. Biggest Love Bug. He does like to jump, so be careful around small children. Re Homing because�'�|: Heartbreaking situation�'�| The Current Shepherd Parent is having health issues and can no longer give Joey the life that he needs and deserves. She used to be able to go on walks, Etc, but is no longer able. She loves him so, so much and wants Joey to have the life that he needs and deserves. Her health is rapidly declining and knows its time for Joey to find his amazing, Furever Home so he can thrive and be the bestest boy that he can be��%A4%8D.
