About Hank

Meet Hank! ��%90%BE Hank is a 2-year-old Hound/Beagle mix who has been through a lot in his young life. He came to us after his owner passed away suddenly, leaving behind many dogs that the family was unable to keep. Thankfully, Hank found his way to Revelation Ranch, where he's now safe, loved, and looking for his forever home. This sweet boy is fully vetted and weighs 62 lbs-he has the classic look of a hound but the smaller size of a beagle, making him the perfect little companion. Hank is gentle and kind, but also shy and timid with people. He will need a patient family willing to give him the time and space to build trust. Hank is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. We aren't sure how he is with cats, but given his hound instincts and prey drive, a proper cat test would be needed before placement in a home with cats. Because Hank likely never had much experience with a leash, he freezes up when one is put on and will simply lie down instead of walking. With consistency, patience, and lots of love, his forever family can help him gain confidence and learn that walks can be fun. Hank may be timid, but he is truly a gem. In the right home, he will blossom into the loyal, loving companion he was meant to be.
